The work behind Haus spans more than a decade across
hospitality, aviation, and premium brand spaces. The principle has
never changed: take what is exceptional and make it impossible

The proof that built the methodology
When Solbjerggaard was acquired, it was a
good bed and breakfast in Denmark. Solid reviews.
A Booking.com score of 8.3. Steady guests. It blended
in completely.
I was responsible for close to every element of
its transformation. Three moves changed everything.
The first: find the category no one has claimed.
A full market analysis, not to understand how to compete
better, but to understand where competition did not exist.
There was no property in the region deliberately positioned
as a premium, experience-led destination. Every competitor
was optimising for cleanliness and value for money.
Solbjerggaard moved to a different
market entirely.
The second: make the positioning visible.
New editorial photography that showed the feeling,
not the rooms. The morning light. The unhurried breakfast.
The particular stillness of the place. Fewer enquiries from
guests who would leave a 7/10 review because the pillow
was firm. More from guests who arrived already in
love with the property.
The third: deliver the promise. Then raise it.
Within the first year, revenue doubled. The Booking.com
score moved from 8.3 to 9.6. International press arrived
from France, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Uninvited.
Price per night doubled, with higher demand, not lower.
The market did not change. The signal did.
Every element of what Haus now builds for
hotels is directly transferable from what
happened at Solbjerggaard.
